VOLUNTEERS WANTED!

Are you an enthusiastic person over the age of 18 looking for a voluntary commitment in hospital radio ? 

Then we need you to help us provide our service to patients at County Hospital Stafford, and Royal Stoke University Hospital.

Stephen Fletcher ( DJ Stiggy ) presents programmes every Tuesday and Thursday

You can take on a variety of exciting jobs here at HRS:- visiting the wards and collecting music requests, taking part in programmes, working in the music library, fundraising, using your IT expertise, maintaining our broadcasting equipment and assisting with the running of the service. You may even get the chance to create and present your own show!

If you can spare a few hours each week on a regular basis, why not volunteer with us – you can be part of a great team as well as helping a good cause. Your help will be invaluable and will enable us to carry on broadcasting.

All volunteers need to be approved by University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust.  Occupational Health clearance, completion of Trust Induction modules and a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check are also required.
